Alerts do not work if you apply a filter to a shared mailbox's folders
If I don’t apply a filter then I get notifications for all email including shared mailboxes.
But as soon as I use a filter to select any of the inbox folders I care about I stop getting notifications.
(I still get notifications for my own mailbox folders if they’re included in the filter)3 votes -
Support for Outlook 2010 x64
Is there any update on possible support for Outlook 2010 x64 as the last comments were made over 18 months ago. The reason being that I have just purchased the application but my Outlook application is x64

Trouble with connecting to Hotmail via MS Outlook Connector with installed Mail Alert
Hi, last year I’ve tried to use v2.6, and there was no notifications about Hotmail new messages, while POP-folder works fine. Eric Amodio suggested in private correspondence try to use v2.7. Now, I did it (for a couple of weeks). Mail Alert is incredible plug-in with so many settings and options, that I can’t find the words to say it’s wonderful.
But one small problem: when I run Outlook, MS Outlook Connector (all we know, this tool is not very good) can’t connect to server to get new mail, and I have to press F9 (or send and receive button)… more

Stacked view
Would it be possible to have a stacked view of grid in stead of having the popups placed above each other? Perhaps grouped per monitored mail folder, with a counter?

(re)Notification for read mail
Notification for a mail disappears when it is read. However, when a read mail is marked unread the notification does not reappear.

I need the pop-up to stay on the screen until the user responses to it. How do you need to configure it to make that happen?

Mail Alert is one of the best utilities ever. I can walk up to my laptop and see if I have any mail without switching to Outlook.
Mail Alert is one of the best utilities ever. I can walk up to my laptop and see if I have any mail without switching to Outlook.I'm aware of mail sooner.
One suggestion: make more clear (for people like me) where to find Mail Alert in the menu bar under Add-Ins. Not having any other Add-Ins, I wasn't aware of where it was and was looking in Options under the File menu. Maybe the direction do explain, and I missed it.
Other than that, it's great.

Has this project been abandoned?
I tested the beta and it never displays any mail Outlook places in the Junk Mail folder. 2.6 does. I have reverted to 2.6 even though it misses the correct folder every so often even with a delay of 5000.

Outlook toolbar
Make a nicer outlook toolbar. It now has two sections (Menu commands and Custom toolbars). Should be only one and named to 'Mail Alert'

Choose between multiple monitors
I work with multiple monitors, the alert shows up on the 4th one. I would like to have it on the 1st one, so that option is very appreciated.

BUG: latest version of MailAlert crashes Outlook
I have just upgraded to latest MailAlert versione (2.7.0.1062) and now Outlook 2007 crashes each time I try to open it. I had to disable MailAlert plugin to work. I have MAtrace.txt file available upon request.

This should be fixed in the latest beta:

Alert does not disappear in preview
I read my mail in the preview pane and it marks as read after 5 seconds. However, the alert does not see this as the mail being read, therefore the alert does not go away. Is there a setting I'm missing? Considering buying but can't if it won't disappear after mail is read in preview pane.

Stacking Alerts - How or possible
I thought this was possible but cannot get it to happen now.
I want to stack alerts, so I do not have to limit the amount alerts but can reduce the screen real-estate used.3 votesunder review ·

Unfortunately this is not currently possible, but I will include it in consideration for future Mail Alert versions.
