        • Outlook plugin to send Secured Emails

          Hi BettaSoft.

I represent Pawaa Software. We have developed one of its kind "Secured Email Plugin" which enables sender to send encrypted and secured emails. Such email needs user authentication for access. Such email have usage policy, expiry policy attached with them and policy can be modified even after email is sent.

Such plugin is in huge demand for clients demanding outlook security. If you wish to incorporate this plugin in your portfolio, revert.

            • Mail Alert toolbars being created

Every time I get an alert, a new toolbar is created in Outlook. Is there a way to not have that happen?

              • Pick folders not working properly

I'm running Outlook 2010. I have many folders, a few accounts, and many rules that move messages to specific folders. I have set up MailAlert to beep and notify ONLY when a message ends up in one particular Inbox. However, MailAlert seems to notify for many of the messages that are moved by rule to other folders.

For testing purposes, I have made the MailAlert delay "20,000", and MailAlert properly waits 20 seconds before alerting, but it still alerts most (not all) messages.

I have version 2.6, but I have also downloaded the beta 2.7 version, and the results are…

                  • Notification Popup on multiple screens

Being able to move the alert to any screen is great. What would be nice is if you could activate it on more more than one screen. lets say you have 3 screens and you want it to show on the right most and the left most because you aren't always looking at every screen.

                    • System Tray Questions

I’m a little confused on what goes on in the system tray.
Do I need to add the MailAlertBuddy to the startup programs?
Does it stay in the system tray all the time (that is if you change the setting to “Show icon and notifications”)?
Does it show anything in the system tray if Outlook has been closed but there is no mail?
Does it change the icon or otherwise alert you to new mail then?
Can you click on the icon to open Outlook?

                      • Bug when using with Outlook 2013 Preview

Mail Alert seems to work almost perfectly with Outlook 2013 Preview. I've been suing it for at least a couple of months now, but there is one issue that I have found:

On the Add-Ins tab in Outlook 2013 Preview, Mail Alert appears multiple times, and an additional instance appears with every new alert. Even when there are many dozen, things still work fine, but this should be a bug that can be easily fixed.

Please update Mail Alert for Outlook 2013, as Microsoft still hasn't fixed alerts and Mail Alert is still as indispensable as ever.

                            • Alerts do not work if you apply a filter to a shared mailbox's folders

If I don’t apply a filter then I get notifications for all email including shared mailboxes.
But as soon as I use a filter to select any of the inbox folders I care about I stop getting notifications.
(I still get notifications for my own mailbox folders if they’re included in the filter)

                                • Trouble with connecting to Hotmail via MS Outlook Connector with installed Mail Alert

Hi, last year I’ve tried to use v2.6, and there was no notifications about Hotmail new messages, while POP-folder works fine. Eric Amodio suggested in private correspondence try to use v2.7. Now, I did it (for a couple of weeks). Mail Alert is incredible plug-in with so many settings and options, that I can’t find the words to say it’s wonderful.

But one small problem: when I run Outlook, MS Outlook Connector (all we know, this tool is not very good) can’t connect to server to get new mail, and I have to press F9 (or send and receive button)…

When mail is moved from a monitored folder then the notification does not disappear.

Notification for a mail disappears when it is read. However, when a read mail is marked unread the notification does not reappear.
